Be Soft with Yourself

How are you? I'm finding balance between work, rest and grief. It's delicate but achievable. Here's how I do it....

  1. I listen to my Inner Teacher. If she says "cry" I cry. I almost look forward to my crying, it's cleansing and connects me to my Mom.
  2. I try to stay on top of my work by having accountability buddies. Being a solopreneaur is challenging, but by linking up with others we can all get way more done.
  3. I allow myself time to do nothing in particular. This could mean setting aside a couple of hours to watch a movie* or just sit and listen to music or talk to a friend about nothing much.
  4. I create and keep my boundaries. When I have an appointment to write, I keep it just like I do my appointments with my clients.
  5. I'm soft with myself. If something doesn't go as planned, I don't beat myself up but instead I adjust, get it done or make a plan to do better the next time around.
