Finding Your Center

Hello! And happy almost Spring. The weather in the Washington DC area has been a rollercoaster ride: spring like temperatures one day and snow the very next! I captured the image above while walking Malcolm last week and it warmed my heart! It also reminds me that the only thing that is constant is change. How do you keep yourself centered in an ever-changing world? Here are five things that I do to maintain my balance when all around me is flux:

2. Journal. Don't put too much thought into it, instead approach it as downloading what's on your mind/heart onto a piece of paper.

3. Go for a walk outside. Breathe, feel the sun, listen to nature at work.

4. Cook a healthy meal. Think about the goodness nurturing your body!

5. Listen to some good music and DANCE with abandon. Sometimes the calm is found in the dynamic!
