It's A Workshoppy Kind of Week...

First, I don't think that "workshoppy" is an actual word, but it makes a nice headline. From time to time I like to break down the poses that we've been practicing together for years. I do this for a few reasons:

  1. I always think that it's great to revisit those things that we think we already know. Each day, we're a bit different and sometimes hearing or seeing something that you haven't in a while, or if you're new to me, can give you that a-ha moment during your asana practice.
  2. I'm always discovering something new in my own body, practice and continual study, that I want to share it with you.
  3. Thanks to The Happy Yogi and Circle Yoga, I have students that are new to me and my methods. It provides the perfect opportunity for all of us to review and feel like new students again.
