How Are You?

I started therapy yesterday. First timer! I love and appreciate Yoga for all that it provides, but for my mental and overall health, it is vital to use every tool available to live my optimal life.

Why the lovely pastry picture? It was for one of my best friend's birthday celebration brunch. Not only did I want to celebrate her birthday, but I wanted to thank her for supporting me as I learn to navigate this most difficult chapter of my life.

What began as a gift to my friend, morphed into a gift for me as well. It was my first time splurging on a "fancy" breakfast: at the Four Seasons no less! Not only was the food delicious and beautifully presented, but the service was impeccable. The staff is welcoming, kind and their professionalism was top-notch. Truly an experience of "ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen."

This checked off my therapy homework assignment which was to do something special for myself this week. The bonus was being able to share the cheer.

What special thing have you done for you this past week or plan on doing this week? I hope that it includes joining me on the mat.
